About the Book Cover Set
Design a visual system for three book cover dust jackets that are thematically linked. The books should be biographies about individuals who resisted cultural hegemony. The aim of the series is to create a visual system so that each book cover looks like it is part of a whole, related design system. Once designed, the covers should be printed and wrapped around physical books to use for photographs rather than digital mockups.
Process
Step 1
Research cultural hegemony and select 3 people to be the focus of the book cover set.
Step 2
Conduct more research on the individuals and develop a theme concept for the cover set.
Step 3
Once the cover designs are finished, print copies and wrap them around books to take photos in place of doing digital mockups.
